TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR ATTENDEE'S OF THE CAR BOOT

  • Your spot at Good People Car boot is only confirmed once we have received full payment. No exceptions.
  • All pitches must be pre-booked 
  • All payments are final—non-refundable, non-exchangeable, and non-transferable to other market dates.
  • If you miss or forfeit your spot for any reason, including illness, COVID-19, weather conditions, or transport issues, we cannot offer a replacement date or refund.
  • In the unlikely event we have to cancel a carboot due to severe weather we will issue a full refund.
  • All participating food and beverage providers must be fully insured. You must provide proof of insurance prior to the market day. Failure to do so will result in the forfeiture of your spot without a refund.
  • All food and beverage providers will need to supply us with proof of their 4* (or above) Food Hygiene Rating from the Food Standards Agency in order to take part in the event. If you do not supply this to us ahead of the event, you will forfeit your place at the market without refund. We are only able to work with food brands who have a current 4* rating or above.
  • We have a limited number of 6 ft tables available for traders to hire on market day. These tables are offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • If you hire a table, it is your responsibility to ensure its safekeeping throughout the event.
  • Any damage or loss of the hired table will result in a £40 fine to cover the cost of repair or replacement.
  • By hiring a table, you agree to these conditions and accept full responsibility for the table during the market.
  • Any assistants must be over 18 and each stall may have a maximum of two people (including the stallholder) during the market.
  • We are not liable for any loss, theft, or damage to your stock. Ensure you have adequate insurance coverage for such incidents.
  • We do not provide WI-FI so be prepared to hotspot from your device if necessary.
  • Vendors are responsible for informing customers of potential allergens in their products and ensuring all allergens are clearly labeled.
  • All communication will be via email. It is your responsibility to check your inbox and spam folder and contact us if you do not receive updates.
  • Please arrive with enough time to set up your stall. If you are late, we may not be able to accommodate you.
  • Any damage caused to the venue by your stall setup must be paid for by you. Your pitch area must be left clean and tidy at the end of the carboot.
  • Participation in one carboot does not guarantee a spot at future events. Each carboot requires a separate pitch purchase on the website.
  • We may take photos and videos during the market for promotional purposes. By participating, you agree to this.
  • You are responsible for ensuring your products meet all legal requirements and are not plagiarized. We reserve the right to revoke your place without refund if any issues arise.
  • All stallholders must comply with current COVID-19 guidelines and restrictions.
  • Our markets are dog-friendly, so be aware that dogs may be present.
  • Any inappropriate or disrespectful behavior towards staff, other traders, or customers will result in immediate removal from the car boot without a refund.

Good People Car Boot Ltd is not responsible for any accidents, injuries, or damages that may occur due to products or setups provided by sellers. It is the sole responsibility of each seller to ensure that their table set-up and products are safe, secure, and do not pose any trip hazards or risks to attendees, other traders, or staff. Sellers must take all necessary precautions to prevent accidents within their allocated space.
